Česká gigafactory koncernu VW je nejistá. Stavět se zatím budou tři tisíce dobíjecích bodů na pozemcích ŘSD

Koncern Volkswagen dříve v letošním roce oznámil záměr vybudovat šest závodů pro výrobu baterií s celkovou roční kapacitou 240 GWh. Jeden z nich by měl stát také ve střední Evropě, přičemž český ministr dopravy a průmyslu a obchodu Karel Havlíček už s německým výrobcem na toto téma jednal. Karel Havlíček původně očekával rozhodnutí do konce letošního roku, po včerejší schůzce s předsedou představenstva Volkswagen AG Herbertem Diessem ale bylo oznámeno, že Volkswagen učiní definitivní rozhodnutí až v prvním pololetí roku příštího.

Česká republika není jediným kandidátem na umístění závodu pro výrobu akumulátorů v rámci střední Evropy. V úvahu připadá také Slovensko, Polsko a Maďarsko. Zatímco podle Karla Havlíčka Volkswagen rozhodnutí o umístění této továrny odložil, dle informací Automotive News Europe k žádnému odkladu nedošlo. Volkswagen údajně své rozhodnutí na příští rok původně plánoval, aby bylo možné důkladně posoudit podmínky jednotlivých států, ekonomické prostředí, strategii v oblasti e-mobility a dotační rámec. Alespoň v tomto smyslu se vyjádřil pro Automotive News mluvčí Volkswagenu.

Německý koncern zatím rozhodl o prvních dvou takových továrnách. Jedna bude stát v Německu, druhá ve Švédsku. Třetí pak vznikne ve Španělsku, Francii nebo Portugalsku. Závod, o který se hraje v případě České republiky, by měl být otevřen v roce 2027. Kromě koncernu VW by na našem území mohla vzniknout také továrna korejské společnosti LG. Záměry zvyšovat výrobní kapacity v oblasti produkce akumulátorů by ale mohl narušit aktuální nedostatek vzácných kovů.

Ze setkání Karla Havlíčka a představitelů koncernu VW nakonec vzešla dohoda o společném záměru Škody Auto, společnosti ČEZ, MDČR a státní agentury pro silniční, železniční a vodní dopravu o výstavbě nových dobíjecích bodů. Jak upřesnil Karel Havlíček na svém twitteru, do roku 2025 by jich mělo vzniknout zhruba tři tisíce. Stát budou na pozemcích ŘSD, SŽ (správa železnic) nebo ŘVC (ředitelství vodních cest).

Dobíjecí stanice mají vzniknout na nádražích a podél hlavních silničních tahů. Na určení přesných míst se bude podílet Škoda a Elli, což je dceřiná společnost koncernu VW pro řešení otázek kolem dobíjení. Pro rozhodování budou využita rovněž data o nejfrekventovanějších silničních tazích.
